“Hey, Kimmy- I wear a mask everywhere I go. So please shut you’re a**“, said WWE Hall of Famer Chris Jericho, while responding to a fan’s tweet. A fan named Kimmy earlier posted a video showing a group of Professional wrestlers enforcing the face mask rule at the Central de Abastos market in Mexico City.
She further tweeted: ‘I wish some of our American wrestlers would behave more like this“. While posting the tweet, Kimmy tagged Chris Jericho and several other professional wrestlers.

Jericho and his band performed at a concert that violated social distancing rules
This is not the first time when Jericho is facing the flak of fans around. When the whole world showed its support for George Floyd’s death under the ‘Black lives matters’ trend, Jericho came up with his cooked-up theory. He posted “All Lives Matter” while minimizing the relevance of the “Black Lives Matter” movement. Besides, he further came up with random posts and comments that supported police brutality and the racist criminal justice system in the USA.
Jericho’s band FOZZY played a gig at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota amid the pandemic, if that was not enough. The concert witnessed the apparent violation of mask-wearing and social distancing guidelines by the government.
Eventually, seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 emerged out of the same event. Even then, Chris Jericho didn’t come up with any statement of apology. Instead, he mocked the situation while pinpointing the low number of covid-19 positive cases from the concert.
Fans went furious about this act and turned up to social media to express their anger. A fan posted: “How can he say something so awful. That shows up how heartless and cruel he is. It doesn’t matter how many people turned up covid-19 positive. They could’ve infected millions more.”
The concert, which Chris Jericho and FOZZY performed in, could have led to millions’ deaths. Hence, fans were quite right in showing up their fury on the former WWE superstar.
