WWE Announces Eric Bischoff to be A Hall of Fame inductee in the class of 2021

Professional wrestling booker Eric Bischoff has been nominated for the WWE Hall Of Fame 2021. He will be inducted into the list after the 2021 Induction Ceremony on April 6. However, it is surprising news for him as it is unexpected.

Bischoff is considered the pioneer of behind the scene activities in the sports industry. Besides, he is also really entertaining in front of the camera.

Recently WWE announded the 2021 Hall of Fame ceremony, which will induct both 2020 and 2021 class. Besides Bischoff, wrestler Molly Holly will also be added to the list.

Eric Bischoff to be inducted in WWE Hall of Fame 2021

WWE After The Bell announced Eric Bischoff’s news tonight. WWE later posted a statement on their website saying, “He will enter the WWE Hall of Fame during the 2021 Induction Ceremony, which will take place on Tuesday, April 6, streaming exclusively on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network in the rest of the world.”

Bischoff entered the sports industry in the 1980s. However, he started his career in the sales department, but he changed the track and became an on-air talent. Next, he started AWA’s show on ESPN and interviewed legendary territory’s stars. However, in the 1990s, AWA shut down their business, and Bischoff made a move that would eventually change the industry.

He joined with the World Championship Wrestling in 1991 to host different shows and WCW’s weekly television shows. But in the 1990s, Bischoff changed his track again and became executive producer of WCW.

The wrestling world and celebrities applauding Bischoff for the award. Bischoff’s long time friend Mick Foley congratulated him on a Twitter post and he thanked Foley.

The 2021 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony can be watched on Peacock live stream network in the USA. However, the WWE Network will stream all over the world.
