Former WWE Superstar The Rock has been working for Make-A-Wish-America for a while now. Due to his contribution to society via the Make-A-Wish America organization, Dwayne Johnson has been awarded the ‘Trailblazer Award 2021.’
Usually, the Trailblazer Award recognizes an individual or any jurisdiction agency that works for innovative changes that positively help the community or agency.
The Rock won the Trailblazer Award 2021
Over the years, The Rock has fulfilled countless wishes through the foundation. To appreciate Rock’s contribution to the society, Hollywood Critics Association honored The Rock with Trailblazer Award 2021.
Make-A-Wish America congratulated the WWE Superstar on Twitter and wrote, “We loved seeing all the amazing wish kids in this video! Congratulations on your Trailblazer Award, @TheRock! You’re such an inspiration to our wish kids and we thank you for all you do for them!”

However, after the award, Rock gave an inspiring speech, he said, “You don’t gotta be famous. It doesn’t matter what’s in your bank account, or what kind of car you drive, all that (expletive) doesn’t matter. It’s just how you make people feel. That’s the thing that matters.”
Rock loves to fulfill people’s wishes. He thinks this his responsibility, and he is just doing his part. “That’s real accountability to humanity when you just do good for people,” Rock said.
The Hollywood Critics Association posted the full Trailblazer Award presentation on YouTube, in which they played a video that showed Johnson’s acting and wrestling career and his charitable work with the fast responders as well as the Make-A-Wish America. Later, Rock recorded a quick appreciation video and said, “we’re fortunate enough to be in a position where you can make somebody feel good and you can create moments for them that they will never forget for the rest of their lives, that is power.”
The Rock also thanked the foundation in his tweet. “Thank you so much and this one means a lot. Especially that it’s connected to all our Wish Kids over the years Black heartGlowing star Im a lucky man to be in this position,” Rock wrote.
