Kurt Angle has expressed his opinion on the wrestler who can take be ‘the next Brock Lesnar’. In Angle’s esteemed opinion Chad Gable is the one who has the talent and power of replacing the veteran strongman.
Kurt Angle had the pleasure of meeting Gable while preparing for his retirement match at Wrestlemania 35. He even had a few practice bouts with the young American as part of his training. At the same time, Kurt beat Lesnar three times in various events and he knows the quality that ‘Broc Laser’ possesses.
In a podcast on 25th April 2021, Angle said, “To me Chad Gable could become the next Brock Lesnar. He has a lot of potential and Chad’s toughness can help him beat any wrestler.”

“Chad is the kind of person who fits the term bad ass. Very technival, a gifted grappler and and an ex Olympian, need I say more?” said Kurt.
Also, Kurt believes that a temporary exit from WWE to another Wrestling federation would give Gable some much-needed experience and screen time.

Kurt Angle has become a fan of the young wrestler, mainly due to the similarities they both have. In light of this similar persona, Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell feels that Chad Gable models himself after the ‘American Hero’.
Both the wrestlers in the opinion of Dutch Mantell are shot in stature. Yet, they both do not think of that as a disadvantage and use their enormous upper body strength to pin their opponents and secure big wins.
According to Mantlle Gable’s loud-mouth personality is similar to the way Kurt Angle used to behave in his youth. The comparison addressed by the former wrestler stresses points of seriousness as well as comedy. However, Gable’s on-screen persona meets that if Kurt Angle when he faced Brock Lesnar in the ring.
Therefore, Kurt Angle’s opinion that Chad Gable can be the next Brock Lesnar does not hold water, as the young American is on the path to becoming ‘The Next Kurt Angle’.
