Former WWE star Sabu recalled his match against John Cena at ‘Extreme Rules Lumberjack’ in 2006. Sabu applauded John Cena for his humble and helpful attitude.
Although John Cena has moved away from WWE for the past few years, he will remain in fans’ hearts. Sabu is such a fan of John Cena, who will never forget him. On Chris Van Vliet’s recent podcast, Sabu revealed, he is a big fan of John Cena and will never forget their only fight at WWE.

Sabu praised John Cena
A lot of fellow fighters don’t like John Cena. However, the reason is unknown, but Sabu thinks everyone is jealous of the 16-time world champion. “I liked it. I got a lot of bad information given to me about him. It was all lies and jealousy. He was a nice guy, wasn’t selfish, and he would call my spots when I forgot them,” Sabu explained about Cena.
“He didn’t call most of the match. But when I got lost, he called it. We both called the match in the dressing room and then we both called the match in the ring, but I would forget. He was like, “Do this and do that.” He was always on the right page,” Sabu Continued.
The former legend also learned many movements from John Cena. However, Sabu defined Cena as helpful and humble. Sabu conveyed, “From John I learned the importance of timing and moment. There are things you might miss out on and things that might happen out of nowhere, but it’s about taking advantage of the moment. When you’re out there in front of the crowd, it’s about taking the opportunity or doing something special. Only in this way can you go from being just an athlete like many others to becoming someone important.”

John Cena’s Last appearance was in WrestleMania 36. Many enthusiasts debate about Cena’s wrestling abilities, but when a legend like Sabu speaks positively about the former WWE champion, there should be no doubt about his abilities.
