The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson never leaves a chance to recollect his old memories with fellow WWE superstars and mentors. On Sunday, the people’s champ took to Instagram while sharing some of his memories with WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy’ roddy piper.

We must mention here that Rowdy piper succumbed to a heart attack in 2015. Even during that time, Dwayne Johnson came up with an emotional tribute to this legendary WWE superstar.

When Rock posted a heartfelt message on Instagram in 2015 to mourn the demise of Piper, he also talked about the latter’s contribution to his WWE career. Here are some excerpts from the post.
“For weeks and weeks after that meeting, I would have my mom set up a video camera in the kitchen as I would “become” Hot Rod and mimmic (sic) and emulate his every word, style, swag, heat, cool cockiness, and all delivered with his classic smile (and my awful 12yr old afro).
“He was a huge influence on me as a kid and an even bigger one when I became The Rock in the WWE. Thank you Roddy for all the talks, all the stories (especially the crazy ones about my grandfather and grandmother) all the advice and most importantly.. all the memories of you entertaining us fans. You’re missed my friend. Heaven just got a lil’ rowdier… Rest in love ~ DJ”
The Brahma bull shared some great time with Late Rowdy piper during his childhood days. As his father Late Mr.Rocky Johnson shared the ring with piper during their wrestling days, the Rock got a chance to catch up with the superstar.
During the early stages of Johnson’s WWE career, piper helped him with some handy tips and suggestions to make it big in the WWE arena.
As the Rock comes up with an appreciation post for this WWE Hall of Famer, millions of his fans and followers showed their love while dropping their likes and comments.
