Francis Ngannou wants to have one more fight this year, wants to get a little closer to the title before 2020 and is willing to face anyone. This was made clear on Twitter, shortly after receiving an unexpected challenge of a welterweight:
“I want to fight in December. Preferably in Las Vegas. Otherwise, I will fight anywhere, as long as I can fight.”
► Francis Ngannou vs Anthony Johnson
I asked Anthony Johnson about a potential fight with Francis Ngannou, who he says is the scariest dude in the division. He says he expects to fight him but not just to “get everyone’s rocks off.” Says that fight will be hyped and it needs to be for something special.

Now we are not talking about a 170-pound fighter, but about someone who will return soon to compete in the full weight: Anthony Johnson. He would be interested too, according to Brett Okamoto.
“I asked Anthony Johnson about a possible fight with Francis Ngannou, who he says is the scariest guy in the division. He says he hopes to fight him. He says there will be a lot of expectation and that it should be for something special.”
Since neither of them is a champion, does “Rumble” want to fight with the “Predator” for the interim title? One of the fans who responded to this tweet suggested that the referee could be Derrick Lewis.
