Maverick Vinale’s contract with Yamaha is coming to an end. He is still focused on racing in MotoGP 2020, not yet thinking about the partnership.
Vinales’ bond with Yamaha was completed after the 2020 season. With Fabio Quartararo’s impressive performance, there was a debate about Yamaha riders who had to be removed.
In addition to Vinales, Valentino Rossi also has a contract that is completed after 2020 MotoGP. That way, the Yamaha racer slot for 2021 is increasingly busy being discussed.
Quartararo became the best debutant last season. He finished fifth with 192 points, 18 points better than Rossi.
Vinales is still focused on achieving the achievements of the sip next season, so he can have the opportunity to become a world champion.
“I’m thinking about next year. I don’t think much about the future because I want to be 100 percent now and look to the future,” Vinales said in an interview in Jakarta.
I want to take advantage to have the opportunity to win the title. That’s something I want, and with Yamaha, it works very well. Next year there is a good opportunity.
I want to focus on this moment, next year and improve myself, and try to be competitive.
