Valentino Rossi confirmed his visit to Misano this time was not just nostalgic. He wants to try to win high points in the San Marino MotoGP on Sunday (09/15/2019).

For information, Misano is the first circuit that he crossed when he started his career as a racer. And since Misano entered the MotoGP calendar in 2007, the Yamaha rider has claimed the champion three times.

“Driving in front of my fans here is fantastic because this is my home Grand Prix. My house is 10 kilometers from the Misano circuit, “said Rossi reported by Crash, Thursday (12/09/2019).

“I grew up in Misano and the first time I rode a motorcycle in Misano. We hope many fans this weekend. Many people, many are yellow, so we try to give our best to be strong and competitive, “continued Rossi.

Yamaha Monster Director Massimo Meregalli also hopes that Rossi can do much in front of the public.” Misano has always been a very special place for us and also for lots of fans. Very close to Valentino’s house in Tavullia so as a team we see this round as our second home GP too. Supporters here stay and breathe motorbikes and motorbikes, their passion for that is almost real, “Meregalli said.”

“Both (Rossi and Maverick Vinales) our drivers have received extraordinary support here. So we want to reward the fans by doing their best to put on a good show this weekend. ”

” We had a successful test at Misano two weeks ago, so we approached the race this time with a positive mindset and we can’t wait to start, “Meregalli.
