Khabib Nurmagomedov mocked Conor McGregor through his official Twitter account. Is this a signal that he wants to fight again with The Notorious?

The UFC lightweight class defending champion uploaded three photos into one picture via the account @TeamKhabib. Uniquely, the three photos show the moment of McGregor’s defeat in the octagon ring.

The first photo shows McGregor losing to Nate Diaz at UFC 196 in 2016. The picture also reads 170, referring to the welter class followed by the two fighters.

In the next photo, Khabib is seen crabbing McGregor’s neck in a UFC 229 duel in the 155 pound class in 2018 in Las Vegas, United States. The event is the first and last battle both of them until now.

While in the last picture looks young McGregor who dropped in class 145 pounds. In the photo, the 31-year-old fighter lost to Joe Duffy in London, England, in 2010.

Khabib’s upload is clearly a form of allusion to McGregor. Previously, the UFC athlete from Ireland had uploaded a photo of himself in three different classes in one picture with quotations 145, 155, 170.

However, not a few fans who call if the Khabib upload was a ‘challenge’ rematch with McGregorThe Notorious indeed often expressed his desire to be able to duel again with the fighter nicknamed The Eagle.

McGregor recently returned to the octagon ring and TKO won over Donald Cerrone on January 18. While Khabib is scheduled to compete with Tony Ferguson in April.
