Conor McGregor continues to lure Khabib Nurmagomedov to want to play a rematch in the future. The Notorious heats up by calling his opponent ‘little mouse’. 😠
The Irish fighter will return to the octagon ring to face Donald Cerrone on January 18, 2020. This will be McGregor’s inaugural match at the UFC, after his defeat to Khabib in October 2018.
In preparation for the match against Cerrone, McGregor uploaded a picture on his Insta Story. The Notorious showed a picture of him when he faced Khabib last year. The photo was accompanied by a text that read: ‘The little mouse running around, I came,’. The photo did not last long on McGregor’s social media because in a matter of hours it had been deleted.
McGregor once challenged Khabib again via Twitter last September. That followed Khabib’s remarks as “damn fighter”.
“Accept my rematch in Moscow,” McGregor wrote.
McGregor had decided to retire in March 2019, or five months after the match vs. Khabib. However, he decided to return to the octagon ring to be able to compete again with the Russian fighter. As quoted from Talksport.
