Jorge Masvidal is not interested in expecting Nick Diaz, UFC, and USADA to stir their stuff.
Last month, Masvidal beat Nick Diaz’s younger brother by TKO in the third round. The fight was valid for the BMF belt at UFC 244. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Nick Diaz disagreed with Masvidal and where he said he wanted to “baptize” Nate.
Fansided MMA chatted with Masvidal. He said them that he will not expect Nick to be authorized to fight or sign a contract.
“No, we really are not. Time does not wait for any man. Nick is going through his stuff. When USADA authorizes it and everything goes well, who knows when that moment will be. I am not waiting for any man. Then, if it happens, it happens. I’m just waiting for the highest pay possible. If it’s Conor. If it’s Floyd. Yes, it’s Nick. The fastest and that of more dollars. That’s all it is”.
“I’ve been in this sport for 16 years and for those new people who listen or just say,” Oh, he’s a pu — hungry for money. ” You’re right. I’m a pu — but I’m hungry for money too because I’ve been in this for 16 years. I fought the best of the best, I never said no, I never had an injury that would take me out of a fight. I never lost weight. I played everything the way it should be done, to win those checks, so now I am able to get big bags. I will take advantage of it. It does not matter that. I have different lottery tickets in my hand. It will only be a matter of time when I stop being lazy, I go to the gas station, deliver and scratch because I have been working for them. I already have them. Now, I just have to go collect them.”
