Khabib Nurmagomedov has been challenged to duel again at the UFC. It was Tony Ferguson who invited the Russian fighter to a duel.
Through his Twitter account, Tony, who is a former UFC lightweight interim champion, invited Khabib to duel at UFC 245 on December 14, 2019. The United States fighter threw a chirp with a challenge while displaying photos of his bloody opponents.
“Of course we can have a good time for the fool @TeamKhabib. @Danawhite to make this happen December 14,” Tony said, who in the last 12 battles was unbeaten.
Tony was previously said to be the next candidate against Khabib. The fighter nicknamed El Cucuy was at the top of the list against Khabib, who had just defeated Dustin Poirier at UFC 242 some time ago.
Khabib himself has not yet responded. The UFC light class champion had even challenged George Saint-Pierre, where the UFC had given the green light to the duel.
Besides Tony, Conor McGregor has briefly linked with Khabib again. The Notorious was even ready to hold a rematch, after being beaten up by Khabib last year at UFC 229.
