The Argentine Laureano Starópoli experienced his first defeat in the UFC during the return of the promotion to Singapore.
In the contest that opened the Main Card of the UFC Fight Night Singapore, the native of Buenos Aires measured the 35-year-old Russian veteran, Muslim Salikhov, before whom he fell on the judges’ cards via unanimous decision.

Thus, Salikhov achieves his third victory followed after knocking out Ricky Rainey and Nordine Taleb.
For Starópoli, this is his second defeat as a professional and the first since the technical knockout he suffered in 2013.
