Tyron Woodley is very keen to fight Jake Paul next. Spicing it up, he is also open to fighting a member of Jake’s team inside the Octagon.

It all unfolded in the aftermath of the Jake Paul vs Ben Askren fight. After the fight, Woodley visited Jake in the locker room to have a few words. However, Woodley found himself interrupted by a member of Jake’s team.

Speaking about the incident, Woodley says, “He’s trying to boost himself and make a confrontation.” At this point, Woodley realizes that the member of Jake’s team was trying to instigate Woodley. The member of Jake’s team was J’Leon Love.

Woodley dismisses Leon’s “pathetic and sad” attempt at trying to start a fight between the two. “I said, there ain’t no money behind you,” Woodley recalls. As a result, Leon took offense and immediately tried to get back at Woodley.

However, Tyron remained composed in the situation and followed his mother’s advice by not engaging in a fight. Even though Woodley already visualized knocking Leon out, he decided not to lose his temper.

Furthermore, ‘T-Wood’ points out how Jake was very quiet throughout this situation. He accuses Jake of ‘ducking’ him whilst calling out Dustin Poirier, McGregor, and Nate Diaz. “You wanna talk sh*t, let’s handle it,” he warns Jake.

Tyron Woodley wants a fight, and soon. Currently, he is on a four-fight losing streak, starting from a loss to Kamaru Usman at UFC 235. As a result, there are speculations that the UFC will soon release him.

However, a win in a fight against J’Leon Love or Jake Paul would certainly improve his situation. Woodley’s next fight could very well enable a potential ‘resurgence’ of the former welterweight champion’s career. ‘T-Wood’ feels that he needs to exact revenge on the YouTuber after he allegedly leaked his number on the internet.

Hence, Tyron is keener to fight Jake but is also open to fighting J’Leon Love. Either way, a win would also see him regain his confidence and possibly earn him a renewed contract with the UFC.
