Marvin Vettori Calls Dana White For Plane Ticket Claiming “I’m Next Man”

Marvin Vettori prepares to fight against Jack Hermansson.

Marvin Vettori wants to fight Israel Adesanya for the title. In last night’s UFC Vegas 23, the Italian had another dominant showing.

Vettori defeated Kevin Holland via unanimous decision after five rounds. As a result, Marvin thinks that it’s time he and Dana White have a talk.

Marvin’s performance on the night was truly immaculate. However, he wishes that Dana White will be there in attendance the next time around. “I want to tell him I’m next in line,” Vettori said of White.

After his fight, Vettori told the media how he expects an invitation to UFC Vegas 24. “I want Dana to give me a ticket for me to sit next to him to watch the fight,” he added.

Clearly, ‘The Italian Dream’ is not shy of asking for what he wants. He believes he is deserving of the title shot. Moreover, he expects to see the champion in the octagon by fall.

Title Time for Marvin Vettori?

Marvin Vettori has fought the current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya already. Previously, Adesanya won the fight by a split decision. However, Vettori simply used this experience to tear through the rest of the division.

Since that loss, Marvin went on a five-win streak. He made a habit of taking opponents to the ground and overwhelming them. Speaking of other contenders, he said, “I don’t think Robert Whittaker is that hungry.”

Marvin reiterates that he is the one true contender to the throne. “The last fight I had with Adesanya was the closest fight he’s ever had, and in my eyes, I still won it,” Vettori claims that he’s a whole different fighter now.

Naturally, winning the five consecutive fights has done his confidence good. The Italian cannot wait for his rematch with Israel and Dana White will now have a big decision to make.
