“Let me Beat this Dude A** ” Tyron Woodley Asks UFC to book a Fight With Jake Paul

Tyron Woodley is feels vexed after Paul leaked his phone number

Tyron Woodley has spoken about his altercations with Jake Paul. The former welterweight champion wants a shot at the YouTuber after the latter’s win against Ben Askren.

Previously, Jake Paul ‘apparently’ prank called Woodley. He pretended to be an interviewer from ESPN and asked him irrelevant questions. However, Woodley soon found out that the caller had also proceeded to leak his number on the internet.

Speaking to ESPN MMA, he says, ” I just don’t see them not letting me beat this guy’s a**.” Woodley believes that the UFC will certainly see value in the fight and grant him permission to fight Jake. Since he is under contract with the UFC, he will need their go-ahead if he is to fight elsewhere.

Furthermore, Woodley almost got into a heated conflict with a member of Jake’s team in the locker room after his fight with Askren. J’Leon Love looked to constantly ‘poke’ Woodley whilst he conversed with Jake. In the same interview, Woodley expresses his desire to take on Leon inside the Octagon.

Tyron was present in his friend Ben Askren’s corner when the latter boxed Jake Paul. Ben lost the fight in the first round of Triller Fight Club’s Main Event on April 17. Woodley was further agitated by Paul and his team when they disrespected Askren after the fight.

Will Tyron Woodley End Up Fighting Jake?

‘T-Wood’ feels that he needs to exact revenge on the YouTuber. He has grown tired of the Ohio native’s antics and wishes to expose him for the ‘fraud’ he is. Moreover, Woodley is ready to face Jake in the boxing ring or inside the Octagon.

Whilst he is uncertain of his contract situation with the UFC, Woodley remains optimistic. Recently, he has been experiencing a four-fight skid, stemming from a loss to Kamaru Usman at UFC 235. As a result, many feel that he will soon be let go from the UFC.

However, Tyron feels he has much left in him. He plans to get back into the UFC’s good books by dispatching Jake Paul who has been a thorn in their side. Most importantly, it will help him sway Dana White in his favor and start a potential ‘resurgence’.
