Khabib Nurmagomedov predicts “50-50” chance on the long awaited Ngannou Vs Miocic rematch

Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou of Cameroon face off during the UFC 220 weigh-in

In a recent video with MMA Talk, Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals how he thinks Ngannou Vs Miocic 2 will go down. Nurmagomedov was among an entire roster of active and retired fighters, who shared their picks for the fight.

The list includes the likes of Mike Perry, GSP, Cormier, Bisping to name a few. Whilst the majority predict Ngannou to win, Khabib had something different to say.

I don’t know, 50-50,” he said, after a moment of indecisiveness.  He feels that both fighters are very good and that the fight could go either way. There is a possibility, however, that Ngannou Vs Miocic could end in a draw as well.

This would not be surprising as Khabib’s predictions have an eerie way of coming true. In the past, he has shown a tendency to accurately predict the most improbable outcomes.

‘Mystic Khabib’ as he is called by some fans, predicts not just his own results but of others as well. The best example of this is when he accurately predicted Conor McGregor’s win and defeat against Jose Aldo and Dustin Poirier, respectively.

What it means for Ngannou V Miocic

Francis Ngannou will face Stipe Miocic for the second time at UFC 260 main event. Ngannou lost their first matchup via unanimous decision in 2018. Many felt that Miocic was able to ‘gas out’ Ngannou at that time.

Since then, Ngannou has had 4 consecutive KO/TKO finishes. And rightfully so, after all, he is the hardest recorded puncher in UFC history. Miocic on the other hand blends a mix of wrestling and relies on his all-around abilities.

For the most part, fans and experts alike had the same opinion. If Miocic can survive the opening two rounds, he wins. However, If Ngannou catches him before that and gets his hands on Miocic, it’s lights out. With so many predictions doing the rounds, people will be curious to see what actually ends up happening.
