Khabib Congratulates New ACA Featherweight Champion Magomedrasul Khasbulaev on his first take off fight with Felipe Froes

Khabib Nurmagomedov of Russia stands in his corner between rounds of his lightweight championship bout against Dustin Poirier during UFC 242

Khabib Nurmagomedov Congratulates the ACA Featherweight Champion Magomedrasul Khasbulaev via his recent Instagram post. Khasbulaev won the title by defeating Felipe Froes at ACA 120 on March 26, 2021.

Khasbulaev won his first-ever ACA title after joining the network in 2015. It was a title defend fight for Felipe Froes. However, it seems Khabib rooted for the Khasbulaev as he indicates the new champ as a bomb.

The undefeated UFC Champ posted a photo with Khasbulaev on Instagram and captioned it with some praising words. He wrote, “Khasbulaev, you are just a bomb, I am very happy for you, you have been coming to this for a very long time, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. See you soon on the turf.”

Apparently, the Eagle invited the ACA Featherweight Champion to his place. Khabib is known for his humble behavior, and with this invitation, he took his humbleness to another level.

ACA Featherweight Championship result

Khasbulaev and Froes’s fight was the main event at the ACA 120. The Brazilian-born Felipe Froes entered into the octagon with 19-4 results. On the other hand, top Russian contender Magomedrasul Khasbulaev joined with a 32-8 MMA record. Though Froes is a Knockout expert, he could not stand against Khasbulaev’s ground tactics.

Magomedrasul Khasbulaev is a Combat Sambo world champion and a former Bellator Featherweight Tournament Champion. He dominated all four rounds and submitted Froes via rear-naked choke, and became the ACA Featherweight Champion.
