Kamaru Usman is willing to put his title on the line to crush Jorge Masvidal’s spirit at UFC 261. Both the fighters clashed in the recent past and their rematch is just a month away. Usman was asked to share his thoughts on the fight and the circumstances surrounding it.
He said, “After my last fight I felt relatively healthy for the first time and that says a lot. As a champion, you want to sit back and enjoy all the glory, but no one’s getting younger and he wants to fight while he can.”
While deciding on who he will fight next, Usman saw a name that he couldn’t ignore as this fight left a bad taste in his mouth. Following the advice of his close ones, Kamaru Usman decided to take Jorge Masvidal’s rematch. This match is beneficial to Jorge himself as he gets a shot at the title without having to do much.
