Jan Blachowicz is ready to fight Jon Jones or Francis Ngannou. The current light heavyweight champion spoke with RT Sport about who his next potential opponents could be.
After a controversial victory over Dominick Reyes, the UFC touted Jones for an immediate rematch with ‘The Devastator.’ However, Blachowicz was also suggested to contend with Jones for the title.
As things turned out, Jones opted to vacate the title and move up to Heavyweight instead. Furthermore, Blachowicz ended up fighting Reyes for the vacant belt. He knocked out Reyes in the second round and became the new light heavyweight champion.

As of last month, Blachowicz successfully defended his title against middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. Now, he wants his deserved shot at Jon Jones. “I can meet him at 205 or at heavyweight, I don’t care.”
“I will be happy about my next opponent,” says Blachowicz. Whilst he feels that his next fight will likely be Glover Teixeira, Jan remains keen on fighting Jones. He has already expressed that he would readily take on Jones, be it light heavyweight or heavyweight.

An Exciting Future for Jan Blachowicz
Jones initially hinted at a potential return to light heavyweight after Blachowicz won the title. However, he confirmed that he has no intention of ever returning to the light heavyweight division soon after, in December.
“So yeah, when I finish my career it’s gonna be at heavyweight,” Jan says. He indicates that he’d happily chase Jones up to Heavyweight. He further expresses his love for food and feels that he’d have no problem in gaining the weight and fighting the ‘bigger’ guys.

“If UFC sends me, ‘You want to fight against Francis?’ why not?” Blachowicz added. He claims that he would love to replace Jones in a potential fight against ‘The Predator.’ “If they want to make fight like this, I would accept it, no problem.”
Blachowicz will likely face off against Teixeira towards the end of the year, but he’s already sure of what he wants next. Fans of ‘the Orthodox’ will be keenly awaiting the next display of Blachowicz’s ‘Legendary Polish Power.’
