Jairzinho Rozenstruik hints “Big things happening” in UFC Vegas 20 fight against Ciryl Gane on Saturday

Jairzinho Rozenstruik

Known for delivering a huge punch, Jairzinho Rozenstruik (11-1) enters UFC Fight Night’s main event against Ciryl Gane. Rozenstruik’s only loss came out against Francis N’Gannou in May 2020. Since then, he fought only one match in August 2020. So, the Surinamese mixed martial artist is returning to the octagon after six months.

On the other hand, Cyril Gane will join the bout with his polished skill set, including grappling, striking, and other disciplines. To date, Gane did not lose any fights and is standing at 7-0.

Rozenstruik already knocked out the former champions Andre Arlovski and Junior dos Santos. Besides, knocking out the former title-challenger Alistair Overeem was also a big hit. However, many UFC stars criticized Rozenstruik for facing these champs at points in their careers where they appear to pass their primes. Unfortunately, the top contender Francis Nganno halted Rozenstruik’s march to the 265-pound title, in which the ‘Bigi Boy” survived only 20 seconds.

Rozenstruik could face a serious challenge fighting the undefeated Gane. As for the ‘Bon Gamin,’ he will certainly look for a win. Besides, Gane has climbed into the top 10 on the points table. Therefore, a victory over Rozenstruik will put Gane one or two wins away from a heavyweight title bout.

Undoubtedly, the MMA world is going to experience a world-class heavyweight fight on Saturday Night. That is why Jairzinho Rozenstruik wrote “Big things happening!” on Twitter.

However, Considering the combination of athleticism and versatility, experts are big on Ciryl Gane.

The hard-hitting Rozenstruik is a contender for No. 3 rankings in a division, while the seventh-ranked Gane is unquestionably determined to show that he is worthy of the hype he has received to date.
