‘I’m There in Spirit’ The Rock Johnson Regrets for Not Being Present Cage Side and Watch UFC 261 Live From Jacksonville

The Rock Expresses Gratitude towards the CFL for how it changed his life

Fans are finally back in the UFC arena. The former WWE Superstar the Rock wished if he could present at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena to experience the UFC 261 live.

After over a year of hosting fan-less fights, the UFC is back in action in front of more than 15,000 limited fans. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the UFC organizers to arrange the bouts in an empty arena.

However, it was a remarkable day for the UFC world. The Rock promoted UFC 261’s fight card via his Instagram account. “Don’t miss TONIGHT!! You already feel that ELECTRICITY with this phenomenal @UFC card,” Rock posted. Further, he wrote, “Wish I was cage side watching this one LIVE, but I’m there in spirit.”

However, it was evident from his post that he rooted for Kamaru Usman and applauded him as GOAT. The Superstar wrote, “An @usman84kg #AndSTILL further cementing his legacy as the welterweight GOAT.”

Further, the Rock Johnson also cheered for women participants Rose Namajunas and Zhang Weili. “And these INCREDIBLE WOMEN! GOATS of the industry, putting on wars tonight,” he continued.

As a fighter himself, Rock always values the fighting professionals. “All love and RESPECT to these warriors,” Johnson sent his respect to the UFC fighters.

However, the Rock once wanted to move to UFC to see the difference between the WWE ring and the UFC octagon. Although the former WWE champion did try UFC, it seems he wants to feel the octagon through experiencing a live bout in his eyes.
