What makes Conor McGregor an all-time favorite?
Undoubtedly, the Irish are worth the respect. The 32-year-old has sold more UFC pay-per-views than any other fighter in history. The Notorious is the biggest superstar the fight game has ever seen.
Moreover, being a true crossover celebrity, the fighter is also famous outside the confines of combat sports, which are actually rare. The fighter has a huge fanbase as well, fans love McGregor’s attitude, the pre-fight conferences, McGregor’s style of walking up to the cage, or even Weigh-ins.

Dana White revealed in front of Mike Tyson and Zab Judah, that UFC superstar Conor McGregor was his favorite UFC fighter.
The 32-year-old is the first fighter to hold two divisional championships at once. He is one of the few seven fighters in UFC history to win championships in two different weight classes.
Thus, these facts alone sum up enough to earn White’s respect. Not to forget, McGregor is also one of the most decorated UFC champions in history, which makes the fighter possess remarkable merit.
Even Though being the promoter on record for every UFC star, the UFC president should not choose favorites. But Choosing McGregor over any other fighter makes total sense.
