Colby Covington Wipes out Jorge Masvidal Accusing “Social Abuse” on Wife and Children, Calls him “Piece of Sh**t”

Colby Covington prepares for his fight against UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman during UFC 245 at T-Mobile Arena on December 14, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jorge Masvidal has been busy preparing for his fight with Kamaru Usman at UFC 261. However, his old rival, Colby Covington has sparked outrage after speaking about Jorge’s personal life.

“They scrubbed the internet of his real wife, the real mother of his children-Maritza Collado, Maritza Masvidal”.  Colby claims that Jorge and his team have hidden evidence regarding Maritza. Moreover, he reveals that Masvidal and Co. have ensured that his spouse is visible as Iman Kawa, the sister of his manager Malki Kawa.

“He doesn’t care about his kids”. “Chaos” claims that Jorge does not spend enough time with his kids and often ignores them. He adds how Masvidal is putting them through ‘turmoil’ and has lied to them about the identity of their real mother.

Speaking about Maritza, he reveals that she is still legally married to the Gamebred. He also reveals that Maritza is Jorge’s ‘high school sweetheart’ to who he would often cheat on and lie. Colby even went as far as to accuse Jorge of assaulting Maritza ‘behind closed doors ‘.

Covington has been talking about Masvidal in the press conferences, all week long. He has taken to MMA Junkie, Helen Yee Sports, and the MacLife to ‘expose’ Masvidal. He stamped Jorge as a bad person who would like to see him lose at UFC 261. Moreover, he has also expressed his desire to fight with Gamebred next.

Will Jorge Masvidal fight Colby next?

Colby Covington argues that he and Jorge Masvidal have the biggest rivalry in the UFC. “It’s a real backstory, it’s real beef,”  Colby speaks about how he and Masvidal would train together for 8 years. However, things between the pair have since turned sour and they now want to ‘kill ‘ each other.

Previously, Jorge and Masvidal were the best of friends. Moreover, they would live together, train together, and were inseparable. Unfortunately, things turned sour after Colby allegedly ripped of their coach and refused to pay him.

As a result, Masvidal hates Colby and vows to exact revenge on him. With his rematch against Usman imminent, he will have no choice but to channel his energy elsewhere. Hence, Jorge will be keen to ‘break’ Covington’s face after dispatching Usman.
