Dustin Poirier has lot to lose’ Michael Chandler on Conor McGregor’s chances in the Trilogy

Conor McGregor’s redemption match, the much-awaited trilogy, McGregor VS Poirier, is on the table for later this year. One of the highly anticipated trilogies in UFC history will be a five-round match at 155 pounds.

Conor McGregor has been the biggest combat sports icon on the planet and will be for the foreseeable future. Stepping inside the octagon ring with such a huge figure brings in unwanted nervousness.

While some may not be keen to face such an opponent, Michael is intrigued with the idea of facing Conor McGregor if he defeats Dustin Poirier in the last match. He looks forward to placing his belt on the line and already aims to add Conor’s belt to his collection.

UFC President Dana White confirmed Las Vegas as the location for UFC 264.

Conor McGregor VS Dustin Poirier, everyone has much to lose and gain

Dustin Poirier is extremely technical on the feet, very well-versed with the ground, and has an amazing fighting spirit. His technical fighting skills, as well as a disciplined training regime, brought him his much-awaited glory.

If Dustin manages to win, there will be no doubt left in anyone’s mind regarding his skills and raw power. While Conor will be forced to face the reality with questions looming on his head regarding his future in UFC.

When asked about the outcome of the match between Conor McGregor and Dustin, Michael said that Conor is known for being notorious. Hailing Conor as one of the last few fighters with a high fighting IQ in the lightweight category. Michael believes Conor is capable of making minute changes that can affect the outcome.

Poirier has a lot to lose this time around as he gave up on his title fight with Charles because he wanted to have a match with Conor McGregor.

Michael ended his talks by stating he was very excited for the upcoming UFC 262 that he is headlining. Having fans back in attendance at the Toyota Center will be a bonus for the players.
