Brian Ortega
An unspecified injury has marginalized Brian Ortega from the fight he had scheduled against the ‘Korean Zombie’, Chan Sung Jung, for the last event of the year, the UFC Fight Night Busan.
Ariel Helwani, the Canadian MMA journalist of ESPN was the first to report the news.
At 17 days of the event, the promotion is currently looking for a replacement for Jung, who has not competed in his native South Korea since 2008.
Ortega has not fought since having fallen via TKO to Max Holloway in the stellar UFC 231 in December 2018. That was his first professional loss.
Jung, on the other hand, comes from knocking out Renato Moicano in an assault on the star of the UFC Fight Night Greenville.
The South Korean has won two of his last three presentations on the octagon.
The event co-star will be in charge of the former Semi-Complete belt challenger, Volkan Oezdemir, and the Aleksandar Rakic prospect.
The UFC Fight Night Busan is celebrated on December 23 from the Sajik Arena.
