Previously, Adesanya and Vettori met back in 2018 wherein Israel won via split decision. However, more than 3 years later, Vettori finally gets his shot at revenge and the Middleweight title. With such an epic rivalry and high stakes on show, this fight is definitely main event worthy.
Moroever, the Co-main event is also a title fight rematch between Flyweight champ Deiveson Figueiredo and #1 Contender, Brandon Moreno. Previously, the two flyweights clashed at UFC 256 where end result was a draw. However, the contest was nothing short of a two-man war with both fighters putting on the fight of a lifetime. Hence, the rematch was simply an eventuality that fans wanted immediately.
Additionally, UFC 263 marks the return of one of the UFC’s most entertaining fighters, Nate Diaz. Following a two-year lay-off, The Stockton Slugger is back in action against an in-form Leon Edwards. Surprisingly, the event is a five-round welterweight fight, even though it is neither the main event nor a title fight.

UFC 263: Preview and Bold Predictions
Here is the preview for UFC 263 along with our predictions for the 3 main fights in the event.
#1. Israel Adesanya vs. Marvin Vettori 2
When these two met the last time around, Israel was narrowly able to clinch the victory. Moreover, it was one of if not the toughest fight of Israel’s career as Vettori gave him some new problems. The fight highlighted some weaknesses in Israel’s wrestling and ground game, and Vettori will be keen to exploit it this time as well.
However, more than three years have passed since then and both fighters have likely worked on their shortcomings. Additionally, Israel is coming off a loss to Light Heavyweight champ, Jan Blachowicz whilst Vettori is on a 5 fight win streak. Although Vettori is a tough wrestler, his striking skills still remain a cause of concern.
Prediction: Israel Adesanya by knockout.
#2. Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Brandon Moreno 2
Previously, Figueiredo, the flyweight champ was able to keep his title after a hard-fought victory against Moreno. The two went back and forth for five rounds and in the end, a draw seemed a fair result. However, there were causes for concern after Figueiredo gassed out towards the end but somehow managed to finish the fight after getting top control on Moreno.
On the other hand, Moreno put on a heroic display with some sublime striking. Moreover, Moreno looked sharper than the champ at some points and was even close to finishing the fight at one point. As such, we believe that Moreno’s granite chin and striking could help him see this one through.
Prediction: Brandon Moreno by decision.
#3. Leon Edwards vs. Nate Diaz
As mentioned before, the Stockton Slugger makes his return after a 2-year layoff from MMA. However, if rumors are to be believed, Diaz has not been leading a very healthy lifestyle behind closed doors. On top of that, he faces top contender Leon Edwards who will be keen to make a case for himself as worthy of a shot at Welterweight gold.
Even though Diaz is one of the toughest fighters around, Edwards is in fiery form and great shape. As such, we cannot determine how far Diaz’s chin will take him in this fight. Edwards is a strong welterweight and has pretty much swept up anyone who’s crossed his way.
Prediction: Leon Edwards by decision.
