He continued his attack by releasing a left-footed kick that struck Cerrone’s right jaw. Seeing the opponent start to falter, The Notorious immediately launched a barrage attack.
McGregor once again released a kick, followed by several shots at Cerrone’s face. In the 40th second of the first round, the referee, Herb Dean, stopped the fight. He then gave the TKO victory to McGregor.
