It’s not secret that the San Marino Grand Prix is always special for Valentino Rossi. Understandably, the distance from his hometown in Tavullia with the iron horse racing arena at the Misano Circuit is not too far, so his fans will certainly gather to support the idol.
As usual every race in San Marino, Rossi always issued a special helmet made directly by Aldo Drudi as a helmet livery designer. The headcover that will be used by owner number 46 is a bit different from before.
This weekend Rossi will wear a helmet with a different style than the others, the color is quite unique with Rossi’s unique blue and yellow blend. Drudi emphasized that this head covering used by The Doctor was not a farewell.
Not surprisingly, Drudi also commented on Rossi’s retirement news that has been circulating in recent weeks. Because, he has partnered with the man from Italy since 20 years ago.
“I think the farewell-themed helmet is still very far away. Rossi still wants to race until at least next year, in accordance with his contract,” said Drudi quoted from PaddockGP, Friday (09/13/2019).
“But surely in the future, we will discuss and create themed helmets. Still not in the near future. Even Rossi hasn’t thought about it,” added the owner of Drudi Performance.
