The History of Liverpool football club is known as a pretty old and famous club around the world which was established in 1892 by John Houlding.

In spite of being established in 1892, This English club joined the football league in 1892. The club appointed a manager for their club was Tom Watson who was the most successful manager at that time.

The club won several League Championships under Watson that surprised the football world. The English club won the second division championship in their first season without losing a game! They won their second league title in 1906 even reached their first FA Cup final in 1914.

The third league title won in 1922 and the fourth one was in 1923. Another league title was won in 1947. In 1954, they were relegated to the second division. The club struggled to back into the first division.

Finally, the club came back into the first division under Bill Shankly, was appointed as the manager in 1959. Shankly`s appointment guided the exact way as they got success in the 1970s and 80s domestically and European competition.

As a result, they won a great number of league champions as well as four European Cups. When the club was getting popularity in the football world, they got into huge trouble. They were banned from European competitions until 1991 in 1985 for the disaster of the Heysel Stadium.

Fagan had announced his retirement just before the disaster and Kenny Dalglish was appointed as player-manager. During his time, the club won three league titles and two FA Cups, including a league and cup double.

After the ban, the club performed domestically as before. Graeme Souness got the position of leadership and led Liverpool to win the FA Cup final in1992. After that, they won all types of trophies including the 1995 football league cup final under Roy Evans, the league cup, FA Cup, UEFA Cup in 2001 under Houllier, league cup in 2003, UEFA Champions League in the 2004-5 season under Rafael Benitez…
