Nadal said, “Of course, it’s easier winning Roland Garros with the confidence of winning events before, as I have done for much of my career.”

How important is it to win the 500 circuit for Rafael Nadal

The shortened 2020 season because of the COVID-19 pandemic and Nadal’s fewer appearances in the sport affected his performance. Thus, Spain’s Raging Bull occupied himself with practice sessions to get back to his form.

The Spaniard is facing the Belarusian Ilya Ivashka in the Round of 32 at the Barcelona Open. Winning the 500 circuit in Spain is important for Rafa to boost up his confidence. If the Spaniard makes his way past through his first round, he will go up against Bernabe Zapata Miralles in the next round.

We might finally see Rafael Nadal his first title in 2021 after his last achievement in the 2020 French Open. Further, he might again lift the Roland Garros trophy.
