Jelena Djokovic, the wife of the Serbian maestro Novak Djokovic, talks about the schedule of her husband when he’s at home.
The World No.1 has been away from court since his defeat against Aslan Karatsev at the semi-finals of the 2021 Serbia Open. Nole lost to the Russian with a score of 5-7, 6-4, 4-6. After the ATP 250 circuit, Djokovic enjoyed some quality time with his family.
The Serb even celebrated Easter with his wife and children, and he later uploaded a celebration snap on Twitter. However, Novak’s partner, Jelena, claimed his husband only thinks about tennis even when he’s off the court.

In a recent interview, Jelena reported, “Novak is in tennis non-stop, when he returns home he watches on YouTube and analyzes what happened in another match, who is the next opponent, what the competition is doing, he is very dedicated and a great professional.”
What is next for Novak Djokovic?
Nole had his biggest win in February this year when he claimed his ninth Australian Grand Slam title. The World No.1 faced Daniil Medvedev in the Grand Slam finals and won with a score of 7-5, 6-2, 6-2. Since then he failed to make a mark in Monte Carlo and his hometown, Serbia.
Djokovic needs to pull up his socks, as he’s at a constant threat from Rafael Nadal and Medvedev, who will challenge him for the throne of World No.1. The Serbian veteran has 11963 points, while Nadal and Medvedev are with 9810 and 9700 points, respectively.
Therefore, Novak is gearing up for the upcoming tournaments. We might witness World No.1 at the clay courts of Italy prior to the Roland Garros. Further, Nole might have to face the ‘King of Clay’ Rafael Nadal and Daniel Evans, who defeated him at Monte Carlo Masters.
