The Russian Andrey Rublev progressed to his fourth ATP 500 singles final by taking down Stefanos Tsitsipas and equalized his Head2Head with the Greek at 3-3.
World number 8 holds a record of seven ATP tour titles and also a consecutive victory of three 500 series titles. He faced the world number 6, on Saturday, 6 March, in Rotterdam and his victory over the Greek extended his winning streak to 19 matches in the event.
The 23-year-old displayed his skillful use of the forehand in the match, blocking all the five breakpoints from the Greek star. However, Tsitsipas pressurized the Greek throughout the match, further pushing him to a tiebreaker. But Rublev dominated the entire tiebreaker and aced the semi-finals within just one hour and 37 minutes with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (7/2).
