In a recent interview, Annacone reported, I think Roger Federer’s greatest strength as a player and a person is his perspective. I mean, I think he really understands life and because he understands life and the ability to prioritize things and pragmatism with which he approaches stuff has allowed him to do what he loves for this long,”
The former coach further expressed, “He just loves tennis, and that’s why, at 39, he’s still out there.”
Roger currently ranks eighth in the ATP rankings and he’s been out of the sport over a year. As the player underwent for a knee surgery, although he made took part in the 2021 Doha Open. However, King Federer got knocked out at the quarter-finals to Nikoloz Basilashvili. Further, he went back to his home in Geneva to heal his body and work on his form.
Currently, Roger Federer is working with his coaches for the 2021 Roland Garros. The Swiss might have a tough time there, as his rivals Djokovic and Nadal will be there. Further, the younger generation will be a constant threat to Federer at the French Open.
