Marc Marquez is preparing for the next race at the Thai Grand Prix. Behind the busyness felt by the Repsol Honda team racer, Alenta Roser claimed not to attend the race at the Chang International Circuit and chose to watch her eldest son celebrate the MotoGP world title on television.
Thai GP is likely to be a place to celebrate the 2019 MotoGP world championship party for Marquez. So far Marquez has collected 300 points or 98 points ahead of his closest competitor Andrea Dovizioso.
In other words, Marquez only needs second place during the race at the Thai Grand Prix, early next month. With notes, Dovizioso is only able to rank third.
Surely it will feel special if Marquez can celebrate his success with family and closest friends. Unfortunately, Roser still seems to have a strong belief in superstition when to watch the son race on the circuit.
There are six circuits where the mother of the five-time MotoGP world champion will see Marc pave, namely the Jerez Circuit, Catalunya, Aragon, Valencia, Mugello and San Marino.
This is certainly quite surprising considering that Marquez is just one step away from completing the hunt for the MotoGP world title this season.
“No, no. I better stay at home and watch him on television. We will party when they get home,”
Roser was quoted as saying by AS Sport, Tuesday (10/10/2019)
Roser instead chose to watch his son come out as a winner in the 2019 MotoGP event via a television screen.
She has the belief that if she breaks she believes something bad can happen. But this unique habit only applies to Marquez.
Not for his sister Alex Marquez. The reason, Roser often accompanied Alex racing without caring that he was on any circuit.
“Yes, I will not watch races other than there (6 circuits). I have never gone to another circuit. If I go to another circuit, something will happen and I cannot forgive myself. I go to certain circuits because I believe “I’m superstitious. I’ll stay home until they finish the Thailand and Asia series,” She added.
