Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors recorded yet another victory in their late charge towards the playoffs. The 2000 people thronging the Chase Center made this win a lot more special.

After spending more than a year without attending games, the Dubs fans are finally allowed back into the stadium, albeit in a limited capacity. Curry and other team members acknowledged the supporters warmly after the game.

In a beautiful gesture by the Warriors organization, Steph Curry got to address the fans after the game. He said, “All we want to say is that it’s great to see you guys in the stands. We missed your energy, we missed your passion. And thank you for your patience in sticking with us during this unprecedented situation. It is great to see y’all back.”

He continued, “On behalf of my team, coaches, and the whole organization, tonight’s a very special night. Hope you guys enjoyed the experience. We appreciate the support.”

Stephen Curry played a pivotal role in making the game a treat for the spectators. He continued his exceptional run of form in this match as the Warriors cruised to a win against the Nuggets.

Curry finished with 32 points to his name. Moreover, he also racked up eight rebounds and three assists for his team. Apart from him, Andrew Wiggins also contributed heavily towards the victory. The 26-year-old scored 19 points along with seven rebounds during the game.

“Just a little bit different of a buzz inside and outside the arena,” Curry said. “I know you got to take it slow and obviously keep everybody safe but ramp up how many people can get in the building and slowly but surely get back to a full, packed house where that energy is second to none. Us on the floor, we live off of that. You try to bring it when it’s an empty arena, you do your best, but it makes such a difference with fans.”

The Golden State Warriors are ninth in the Western Conference standings. At the moment, they are sitting just shy of the playoff berths. However, coach Steve Kerr and his men have stitched together a good run which will help them in the business end of the season.
