Recently, most followed athlete Cristiano was knocked out of the Champions League, losing to Porto in the Rounds of 16. Juventus lost the first leg to Porto, though, equalized the aggregate-score in the second leg. Yet the Primeira Liga giants advanced to the next stage because of more away goals. However, Rocket Ronaldo could not score a single goal in both the matches against Porto.
Cristiano Ronaldo might again join the Los Blancos
Real Madrid is leading in the aggregate score and will face Atlanta the Leg 2 of R16 at the Champions League. In a recent interview, the Los Merengues’ manager Zinedine Zidane claimed their club’s former star might make a comeback and is always ready to welcome the Portuguese star.
“Rumours about Ronaldo’s return to Real Madrid are true? Yes, it could be… we know Cristiano but he’s a Juve player now, and we have to honour this, he’s playing for another club. Now let us see what the future will be,” said the Frenchman Zidane.
Ronaldo is already entering his final 12 months of the contract with Fidanzata d’Italia, and Real Madrid has an enormous opportunity to sign an old face. The Portuguese will face Benevento in Serie A on Sunday, March 21.
