Zidane has to ensure injury comeback “as quickly as possible!” advices Real madrid legend Roberto Carlos

Roberto Carlos, the former Real Madrid star player adviced coach Zinedine Zidane to solve injury related issues “as quickly as possible“. The Vikings veteran while expressing his thoughts in an interview, focused  on the injury prone squad that the Los Blancos are having lately.

The Whites recently got the better of Italian giants Atalanta to qualify for Quarter Final of the competition. Popularly known as “El Hombre Bala” or The Bullet Man, Carlos feels Zidane has his squad ready for the tie that will help Real Madrid reach the Semis.

Considered as one of the best left-back the world has ever produced, Carlos feels Liverpool is quite a formidable team to face. The 47-year-old on the UCL quarter-final tie against Liverpool expressed, “We’re going to play against a good team.”

The 13-times UCL winners to play the first leg at home, Carlos asserted on that context, “The first match is at home, and Real Madrid’s form is much better, they must decide the tie at home.”

As far as the squad strength is concerned, The Vikings are not at their best due to long list of injury for a significant amount of time. The Brazilian conveyed on that regard, “The important thing is that Zidane has all his players ready, and that the injured ones come back as quickly as possible.”

Injury could be a massive issue thinks Madrid’s Director of Institutional Relations

First team players like Eden Hazard, Alvaro Odriozola and Daniel Carvajal are out with injuries, and most likely to not feature in the tie against Merseyside Reds. However, the English giants are troubled by the injury scare as well.

Liverpool and Real Madrid have faced each other six times on the competition, with both sides picking up three wins apiece.

The stakes are generally high as two of the most fearsome rivals of world football will be locking horns in a few days time. Madrid will be looking forward to win the tie and go on to win 14th UCL title eventually. For Liverpool, the fight will be on for the seventh title.
