Pep took on the role of manager of Bayern after parting his ways from the Catalan giants Barcelona. He also needed to fill the shoes of Jupp Heynckes, who led the German giants to their treble in 2013. Therefore, Guardiola worked really hard with the Allianz Arena squad and not letting them at ease.

Muller said that Guardiola always had strategies to win a match, but after ten minutes into the match, he will have five more plans to take on the other team. Bayern’s Number 25 also recalled about Pep and said, “He watched the opponent and thinks ‘oh my first plan wasn’t good enough’ or ‘my first plan didn’t work’.

Muller also said during Pep’s time with the squad, they had players like him Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben, Mario Gomez, Mario Mandzukic, Mario Gotze, and Douglas Costa who could score goals, after reaching near the goal because of Guardiola’s plans.

The German midfielder also doesn’t know what is going on with Manchester City, but usually, the Catalan manager’s squad wins the league.

Bayern’s ace footballer Muller added, “In the last two years, Liverpool have been amazing. But normally, a good team with Pep Guardiola wins the league, for sure.

“The way he prepares his teams, his team against smaller teams, he is the best.

“But when two top teams play against each other, the difference is not big enough to ignore random facts.”

Thomas Muller might face his former coach Pep Guardiola in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League if they can make way through the quarterfinals. Stern des Südens will face PSG in the UCL quarterfinals after facing the RB Leipzig on Saturday, April 3.
