Niklas Sule Will Miss Two World Cup Qualifier Matches Due To Muscular Injury

German defender Niklas Sule is on the verge of missing two important FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar qualifier matches due to muscle injury. The Bayern youngster is set to miss the matches against Romania and North Macedonia due to take place in a few week’s time.

Niklas Sule, an avid member of the Deutsch team suffered a strain in the back of his left thigh. The news was made public by the German Football team’s official Twitter handle. Niklas, in fact didn’t feature in Germany’s match against Iceland two days back. Even though the Germans won the match by 3-0 margin, the injury to their star defender is surely a cause of concern for the team.

Bayern Munich coach Hans Flick expressed his dismay at the unexpected injury of his player. The club managers always fear this International duty as the players become more prone to injuries. The back to back matches and traveling take heavy toll on the players. The coach further expressed how difficult this situation is for him being the Bavarian coach.

How much Sule’s injury can cause trouble to Bayern Munich?

League leaders Bayern Munich is set to face second placed RB Leipzig in a Bundesliga fixture. The Bavarians will also face PSG in the Champions League quarter final at the end of International break. With such huge fixtures coming up ahead, injury to Sule is certainly a huge blow to Hans Flick.

The 25-years-old defender played 18 matches for the Bavarian giants this season, scoring one goal and keeping four clean sheets. With above 90% accurate passes per match, importance of Sule is known to all the German and Bavarian fans.

The Big German has missed a total of 39 games since joining Bayern Munich few years back. Germany are current group leaders of Group E. They might make it to the World Cup 2022 Qatar main event, thanks to the supreme squad depth that they have, but Sule injury has surely dislodged many plans Joachim Leow had with the team.
