Gareth Bale came back to England on a season-long loan that will keep him at the club until September 2021. Since joining Tottenham Hotspur, the 31-year-old looks like a different beast. He is scoring more consistently and even making amazing plays for his teammates.
When Bale was with Real Madrid, he struggled to find his form due to constant injury troubles. Despite that, Bale won several silverware with the club. Keeping that in mind, many believed that the Wales captain will return to Santiago Bernabeu after his loan is over.
It was just rumored until recently when Gareth Bale confirmed his future plan was to return to the Spanish giants in an interview. Bale said:
“There’s no distraction for me. I think the main reason I came to Spurs this year was to play football first and foremost. Going into the Euros I wanted to be match-fit. The original plan was to do a season at Spurs and after the Euros still have a year left at Real Madrid. My plan is to go back, that’s as far I have planned.”

Will Gareth Bale continue to perform well at Real Madrid?
Playing for Real Madrid is definitely a dream for many footballers around the globe. Bale was provided this opportunity back in 2013 when he left Tottenham Hotspur to play for the Spanish giants.

Although he won several trophies there, Bale never reached his true potential there. His career was riddled with injuries and spent a lot of time on the bench instead of doing incredible things on the ground.
However, now Bale looks in excellent form and is probably ready to return to the big stage. But of course, before that, to perform well in the upcoming UEFA Euro tournament.
