The decision is final, and that cannot change.” Nevertheless, Tottenham will host Dinamo Zagreb in England. Thus not risking any fatigue from plane journeys.

Arsenal and Tottenham were set to face their Europa League opponents in England. Their players could thus avoid the jet lag from the round-trip journeys via planes. However, the league authorities dismantled the decision due to a rule in the Europa League.

The rule does not allow teams from the same nation to play their opponents in the same country. After the decision was taken, Arsenal was told to fly three thousand miles to Greece. In order to play Benfica in the Europa League round of sixteen-second leg on March 12th, 2021.

Arteta will be linked with Barcelona considering his years as a youth team player

The thirty-eight-year-old Arsenal manager is on Barcelona’s radar after improving the North London club. He has showcased previous glimpses of the old Gunners team under Arsene Wenger.

Subsequently, Mikel Arteta has rejected their approach just as Wenger did. In an interview, Arteta responded to the speculations by saying, “They are a huge team, and I have played many games for them at the youth level. So, I will always be linked with them, but that does not mean it will happen.”

Arteta knows Arsenal will have a massive disadvantage against Tottenham concerning the jet lag and fatigue.

Still, the Spaniard will motivate his players to do their best. Therefore he will push for a win in Greece. Also a win at Emirates Stadium would announce Arsenal’s intention to challenge for the title next season.
