The top goal scorer of Europe, Robert Lewandowski is expected to be out for four long weeks. The Polish has suffered an injury in the ligament of his right knee which will keep him out of action. The Bayern striker was substituted in the 63rd minute after scoring a brace against Andorra.
Following his discomfort, ‘Lewangoalski’ returned early to Germany. The 32-year-old was then diagnosed by Bayern’s medical team to find out the details about his injury. The doctors then confirmed that he will be out of action and thus will be missing few crucial games for the German champions.

In an official statement from Polish FA, they stated, “Robert Lewandowski will not play in Wednesday’s 2022 World Cup qualifying match against England in London due to an injury”.
Poland will indeed miss their captain against England. More so, because of the significance of the match. Only one team will qualify from the group while the second team will fight in the playoffs. Hungary is currently in second place with equal stats as Poland. However, a defeat for them will be a big reason to worry going forward.
The top scorer of Bundesliga is going to miss some heavyweight clashes in Bundesliga and Champions League as well. In terms of Bundesliga, the German champions are scheduled to face the second-placed RB Leipzig, a crucial match considering the fact that Leipzig is just 4 points behind the league leaders. The last time the match ended 3-3 last time around. Thus, without Lewa this time it’s definitely going to be an eye-catching one.

Bayern’s Champions League clash against Paris Saint Germain will be without Robert Lewandowski
Robert Lewandowski is going to miss the UCL knockout clash against the Paris Saint Germain. There’s no doubt that it’s a huge blow for the defending champions considering the history and form PSG is in. They beat Barcelona in the round of 16 and it’ll be an easier task for the French champions to take their revenge of last year’s final without Bayern’s goal-machine.
The 32-year-old has already scored 35 goals in his 25 appearances this year. His form depicts how impressive he has been over the past year. Now, in his absence players like Chupo-Moting and Thomas Muller needs to fill his big shoes. The German is in great form as well but more with assists. Therefore, Bayern will miss their poacher upfront.
