Joel Glazer Ready to Put Things Right,Conveys That He Is "Personally Committed to Rebuilding Trust With Fans"

Joel Glazer has apologized for the actions taken by Manchester United with regard to the Super league. Following  United’s exit from the breakaway competition, their owner reached out to the fans and asked them for forgiveness.

The concept of the European Super League created hue and cry from fans all over the world. Of them, MUFC supporters displayed aggression to the Manchester sides decision to uproot their legacy in the EPL.

On 21st April 2021, Glazer penned a letter that said, “We have made a mistake and now the time has came to make things right. We have lost the trust of the fans and we will work hard to regain that trust as soon as possible.”

“We accept that our part in the Super League had been unwise. Through that we failed to show enough respect for the game loved by many” said Glazer.

Furthermore, on the orders Joel Glazer, United CEO Ed Woodward stepped down from an important role in the European Club association. Woodward did this to take up up the role o Vice-Chairman in the supposed Super League, coincidentally once again on the orders of Glazer.

Joel Glazer may have tackled one issue, but to win the trust of the fans, another issue has to be overseen and dealt with.

The Glazer family have always given enough and more funds to any manager who wishes to make a stand in the EPL. But, with the current situation due to the pandemic that may change.

However, after the error with the Super League, fans of the Red Devils will not take too kindly if United struggle next season due to finances.

Hence, Joel Glazer would need to dig deep into his pockets to gain back the trust he lost from the United fans.
