Phil Foden has received the adulations of his teammate, Ruben Dias on basis of his rise to fame. The Englishman has become a big part of Manchester City’s team who have had a strong run this season.
Ruben Dias joined City recently from Benfica on September 29th, 2020. After the move, Phil Foden has impressed Dias despite playing together for less than a year.
In an interview on 23rd April 2021, Ruben said, ” Foden made the first team and has played for the first team within the last three years. But, sometimes he restarts by going back to zero.”

“Phil Foden has a lot of dedication and he never worries about anything,” Dias remarked.
Dias in particular grows fonder of the mentality that Foden has. He feels that “with the quality and the mindset that Foden possesses, the Englishman will become further successful.”
Foden’s talents have received the admiration of his boss Pep Guardiola as well. The Spaniard does not give praises too often and his stern nature is known to all.
However, in the case of Foden, Guardiola has not followed his usual methods. In an interview on 2nd October 2020, Guardiola said, “The maturity that Foden has makes him a true leader and he will always strive ahead to prove his worth to others.”
The comment made by Guardiola last year and the praise given by Ruben Dias make Foden’s future secure within Manchester City. This will not be the last praise that the Englishman will receive.
On the other hand, Phil Foden would want to recruit Erling Haaland as thanks for the compliments he is getting.

After their last match against one another in the Champions League Quarter-Finals, Foden and Haaland were spotted exchanging a few interesting quips.
This, the talk of the Norwegian to City has received a boost with the other interested clubs sweating on the sidelines.
Therefore, when Haaland makes the move to the Etihad stadium, Phil Foden will be praised once again by his teammates and Guardiola for his contribution.
