FC Barcelona wishes to recruit a strategic partner to help them replenish their depleting financial strongholds. With the help of their new partner.
Barca can divulge in new projects that will benefit the Catalan club. Due to the pandemic. FC Barcelona has received a huge blow to their finances. They could rival Real Madrid prior to the pandemic, but now they struggle to make ends meet for their individual projects as well.
Barcelona have a strong backer in Japanese electronic giants Rakuten; however even the Asian conglomerate would not be able to save the Spanish giants.
In light of the issue, Joan Laporta mentioned on 24th April 2021 that, “Barcelona do not wish to sell their assets in terms of short term prospects, as we would rather think about the benefits for future purposes.”

“For now we have the means to offset the deficit incurred from the pandemic” said Laporta.
FC Barcelona have four projects in standby due to their financial constraints. Of them Barcelona Corporate holds more precedent since it came to be a success under former President Josep Maria Bartomeu. Laporta could have disbanded operations of The Corporate, but he chooses to keep them functional since he sees them as a potential benefit for Barca.
On the other hand the Super League could have helped FC Barcelona, had the project taken off. Through them, the Catalans would have received a cash injection of 3.5 billion euros to continue their projects without any hindrances.
Nonetheless, they would now have to count on the help of Spanish entertainment colossal PortAventura. Their investment wing Investindustrial reportedly finds FC Barcelona as fund-worthy.
But, Barca have another task that requires their immediate attention.

With regards to the financial issues aside Barca can overturn the frowns of the Culers by beating Villareal on 25th April 2021.
A dominant win for the Blaugrana and a loss for Los Blancos against Real Betis, could see the Barca team secure the much needed investments for their club.
Therefore, Barcelona have a lot of issues to deal with and less time to successfully complete them.
