Lucas Digne feels that the game against Tottenham was the biggest performance at Goodison Park on 17th April 2021 for the Merseyside Blues.
Lucas Digne joined Everton in the year 2018 and ever since then, he has played 45 home games at Goodison Park. During this time he has played many important games. Yet he feels that the game against Spurs would trump all the other performances.
In an interview on 29th April 2021, Digne said, “The game against Tottenham would in my opinion be the best game for Everton performance wise.”

“We should not lose the momentum that we have set for ourselves and keep striving forward” said Digne.
Digne has become an important part of the Everton lineup and with his help, the Toffees have re-emerged in the past few years.
Furthermore, over their last 15 away games, Everton has scored 22 goals. Of these goals that they have scored, Digne has contributed to it as well.
Though primarily a left-back, his attacking capability makes him a great wing-back to use when the situation arises.
With his attacking ability, Digne has become an asset for them whenever they use a formation that compliments a counter-attacking style.
As a left-back Digne has helped Everton and Carlo Ancelotti secure the eighth position on the Premier League points table.
Lucas Digne is a competent defender
At the same time, Everton has only conceded 16 goals in all their away games. Thus, Lucas Digne has proven his worth by contributing as a defender as well when required of him.
In this manner, Lucas Digne will help Everton win more games and qualify for the Europa League for next season.
Therefore, there is a chance for Everton to have a bigger performance and for Lucas Digne to play a huge part in that as well.
