Daniel Levy Feeling high pressure due to Tottenham's search for a new manager

Daniel Levy has immense pressure to find a new manager for Tottenham Hotspur. After the departure of Jose Mourinho on 19th April 2021, Levy has made it his mission to find someone for Tottenham.

Daniel Levy the CEO of Spurs recruited the Portuguese manager, on 20th November 2019. Due to Mourinho’s lack of ability to win games with Spurs, he received the boot from the Levy.

Levy understands the issues that Tottenham can face due to the absence of an experienced manager. Hence, Daniel Levy appointed the twenty-nine-year-old former Spurs player, Ryan Mason. The Englishman won his first game against Southampton by 2-1 and that eased a bit of the pressure on Ryan.

Mason showed his lack of experience in the game against Manchester City. This, Spurs lost the Carabao Cup final at the Wembley Stadium on 25th April 2021.

Following the loss, Daniel Levy would be placed under a lot more stress . This increase in pressure can cause Levy to make a mistake while choosing the next manager to take over at White Hart Lane.

Levy’s mistake could be disastrous for Spurs who are already in a conundrum after exiting from the Europa League. Furthermore, their current position (7th) would keep them from qualifying for next season’s UEL.

Following that, Levy needs to bring in an established manager to replace the departed Mourinho and Brendan Rodgers could be the right man for the job.

In light of the manager conundrum, Brendan Rodgers has been rumored as a target for Tottenham in the upcoming season. Should Rodgers join the club, he will help them rise to the top, just as he has done with Leicester.

Therefore, recruiting Rodgers should be a priority for the North London club and Daniel Levy.
