Paul Pogba can play for a better club than Manchester United, according to his agent Mino Raiola. Raiola has never missed an opportunity to promote his clients. Thus he did it again in a heated verbal battle with Jonathan Barnett when comparing Paul Pogba with Gareth Bale. Pogba, on the other hand, stays oblivious to his agent’s comments as he is training with the French national team.
Paul Pogba is not the only client for Raiola. However, he has a soft corner for the Frenchman considering his personal involvement in saving Pogba’s career after his exit from United on July 3rd, 2012. In an interview on March 30th, 2021, he said, “I can ask my five-year-old nephew to find Pogba a bigger club than United, and he would.”
“Pogba does not need any help to market himself. He has fantastic appeal, and thus anyone will take him” said Mino.
Mino Raiola to The Athletic: “Pogba has fantastic appeal worldwide. I heard from #MUFC that he’s appreciated, also from Solskjaer’s side. Today, if somebody asks me, ‘Can you find a club for Paul?’, I could take my nephew of 5 years and find a club for Paul at a high level”. 🔴

Paul’s United journey before Ole
La Pioche is not one to shy away from promoting himself. This attitude led to his short-term role as a substitute at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho. At that point, Raiola decided to reignite his feud with the Portuguese manager. Mino has had an on-again, off-again relationship with Mourinho, and Pogba’s sadness motivated him to call out the three-time Premier League winning manager.
However, Mourinho was not the first manager to disregard the twenty-eight-year-old midfielder and get into the bad books of Raiola. Legendary United manager Sir Alex Ferguson faced the wrath of the Italian giant. This happened after he refused Pogba the chance to remain at United. He thus terminated his contract as well and told him he has no future at Old Trafford.
This act prompted Paul Pogba to make a move to Juventus and join Blaise Matuidi (another client of Raiola).
Paul’s resurgence at Old Trafford after Ole
There was a point when his exit from Old Trafford had the highest chances of happening. Then came Ole, and he gave the Frenchman another chance in the Manchester United lineup.
Under Ole this season, Paul Pogba has exhibited his explosive power that was dormant in the last season. Pogba is primarily a central midfielder, but he prefers to operate behind the front three as a central attacking midfielder.
That is how he recorded twenty-eight goals and twenty-six assists in a hundred and twenty-seven appearances in the EPL. This record is not typical for a central midfielder, yet he does that for United’s sake. In the current season, he has recorded just three goals in nineteen appearances, which is due to him playing only in the middle of the park and not moving forward.
Speaking of performances, in his quest in the World Cup Qualifiers with France, Pogba has done a lot, which can be beneficial for the Red Devils.
Paul Pogba national team form set to be beneficial for Manchester United
In his last two games, Pogba created plenty of chances for Les Bleus, and United fans would be salivating at the idea of the Frenchman performing the same at the club level. Manchester United has nine games left in the Premier League, and they need to win all of them. By winning all their games, United will give themselves a slight advantage in winning the EPL title this season.
Therefore, they need Manchester City to slip up and lose out on the fourteen-point lead they have over United. If City slips up and Pogba can play in his preferred position, then in a shocking climax, United can be EPL champions for the fourteenth time.
